Exhibition Contents:

Expansion History, the exhibition features various modern technologies and interactive screens that engage visitors, illustrating the different stages of the Prophet’s Mosque expansions from the time of the Prophet (may Allah’s salah and salam be upon him) through various Islamic eras, up to the major Saudi expansions, including the addition of courtyards and service facilities.

Documents and Manuscripts, copies of the letters sent by the Prophet (may Allah’s salah and salam be upon him) to kings, along with valuable manuscripts that narrate aspects of the history of the Islamic Dawah.

Visual Presentations, 20-minute documentary films that narrate the story of the construction of the Prophet’s Mosque and explain its architectural and engineering aspects, along with its service facilities such as sound systems, air conditioning, and power stations.

  • Enhancing cultural awareness of the aesthetics of Islamic architecture and the historical care Muslims have devoted to the Prophet’s Mosque.

  • Introducing visitors to the landmarks of the mosque, such as the minbar, mihrab, domes, gates, and minarets, while highlighting the services provided to the Guests of Ar-Rahman.

Opening Hours: Daily from 4:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Booking: Entry tickets can be purchased from the sales counters in front of the exhibition.
